This is a whole pocket watch movement from the year 1918. The watch is clearly labeled with Elgin National Watch Company and that serial number places it within that date. The engraving on the metal looked so nice and intricate that I decided to do nothing but clean it and mount it on a silver-plated bail with a chain.
