The designer became a fan of Lindsey Stirling’s music, while listening to classical music covers, when designing and assembling pieces.  He purchased songs from her first album, was hooked, and then purchased her other albums.  Lindsey Stirling often times uses watches and steampunk themes as a metaphor for time lost and she also uses a butterfly to reference herself.

There is an antique pocket watch dial, with the enamel chipping off to show the shiny copper underneath.  A metal filigree butterfly rests on top and a small antique watch movement sits on the butterfly.  This was attached to a silver plated bail and a stainless steel chain.
