All good things…

All Jewelry, Bracelet, Brooch/Pin, Pendants, Rings, Uncategorized

For about 8 months I had two shelves of space inside of the Makers on Main Street shop, located off of Main Street, in Columbia, Illinois. In the 6 month period, I had sold 6 pieces of jewelry. While that was a great opportunity for my brand to reach a wider audience of buyers, and I am thankful for it, it wasn’t financially successful for me.

But…

You haven’t seen the last of me, or my jewelry. I will be at the Columbia Arts in the Park, on June 8th. I will likely be at the Gateway Convention Center in August and I might be in St. Peters, Missouri in a few months. There is also Columbia Days, Pumpkin Fest and several other events in the area.

I have no plans of stopping and only plan on continuing forwards. I started my brand back in 2013 and while making items that I would call the simpler versions of what I make now, I am happy with my growth and the risks I have taken.

Back in 2013 I was only selling on Etsy and the Curios Shoppe, in the historic Cherokee area, in St. Louis. I wasn’t sure if this idea was even going to work or grow. Even though I am not a millionaire from this art, I am happy with the conversations which I have with people who stop by, about how watches used to be made. People tell me about how my items remind them of happy thoughts and memories of loved ones and relatives whom had watches and old knickknacks that looked like what I had made.
