An interesting idea created an interesting necklace.  A thick and heavy, metal, wrist watch case, has a fabric bead inside.  The bead was made by hand-dyed wool, which was then wrapped in a coil and felted together to form “beads”.  They were to be used as beads on a necklace but never were.  The colors in the bead, reminded me of the swirl shape and colors of a galaxy and with a few gears on top, it reminds me of a snapshot of space.  A coat of resin covers everything and this hangs from a thick, black, leather chord.
